Imagine being on a plane where 47 passengers started coughing and sputtering and some developed fevers and you can easily imagine why the scene would be described as resembling “something out a disaster movie,” when plane operated by Hop, the budget subsidiary of Air France, landed at Blagnac Airport near Toulouse and had to be quarantined because of that exact situation. It was determined that most the passengers had been on a trip to Bangkok, Thailand and flown via Dubai.

After paramedics checked the passengers, 16 were taken to the infectious diseases department at Purpan Hospital where further testing for fears of a possible H1N1 flu pandemic.

It ws later determined that those people had a simple flu.

A little strange first that 47 people developed symptoms, then only 16 of them kept for further testing and all of them developed these symptoms and the flu all at once, on the same flight?
