Seattle Seahawks Create Mini Earthquake

Seattle Seahawks fans were so excitable Monday night that they apparently registered a mini earthquake in the stadium.

Those rowdy fans jumped up and down so hard during a 22-yard fumble return for a touchdown that they created a magnitude 1 or 2 earthquake, the Seattle Times reported.

Thankfully fans kept their feet on the ground when they celebrated the Seahawks' 34-7 win over the New Orleans Saints, clinching the first playoff slot of the season.

Everybody Wants Some...More Van Halen Music.

David Lee Roth revealed in an interview with SiriusXM's Jim Florentine that the legendary rockers are working on new music and that an album could be out in about 18 months.

"I write lyrics routinely. It's a perishable skill. And the band plays together routinely, at least three times a week," he said.

Grand Canyon Filled With Clouds

Check out this majestic and rare site at the Grand Canyon over the weekend.

For the second time in recent days, the canyon experienced an inversion, where freezing fog and clouds filled the gaping divide, acting like a lid.

Breathtaking!

A maze of ancient tunnels under Rome are being mapped by geologists who hope to prevent modern structures from being swallowed by the streets.

There were 44 incidents of streets or structures in Rome collapsing in 2011, according to Scientific American. That number nearly doubled this year, according to the magazine.
