Officials said the woman was shot inside the W. 175th St. building near Audubon Ave. around 3:30 p.m. Saturday. The woman is in critical condition at St. Barnabas Hospital in the Bronx.

A woman was clinging to life Saturday after she was shot inside a Washington Heights apartment, officials said.

The woman was wounded inside the W. 175th St. building near Audubon Ave. at about 3:30 p.m.

Paramedics rushed her to St. Barnabas Hospital in the Bronx, where she was listed in critical condition.

It was not immediately clear if the shooter was in custody.
