‘He’s not really well. He’s not really here,’ says Rolling Stone Charlie Watts amid fears for Jagger's health as last picture emerges of singer and L’Wren Scott a month before designer’s suicide

One of Mick Jagger's Rolling Stones bandmates today told how the 70-year-old singer is in poor health following the death of his long-term partner L'Wren Scott.

Stones drummer Charlie Watts told the MailOnline that Jagger had been left dazed and unwell following the fashion designer's apparent suicide on Monday.

'He's holding up. He's okay,' Watts shrugged, but then added: 'He's not really well. He's not really here. It was such a shock.'

A new report also reveals that Jagger learned of the death while at a Perth restaurant and though he was clearly shocked, he took the time to personally thank a waiter before leaving.

The drummer's comments came as the last pictures emerged of Jagger and Ms Scott together near the singer's home in Chelsea, West London.

'He’d been there about an hour- he had a seafood entrée and a main meal of local fish - and then somebody from his entourage came in,' manager Denise Zammit told Closer Magazine.

'Before that he was talking to our waiter who is also English and he was having a great time with him. They were talking about England and where he’d been in Perth and all the things he’d been doing.

'Before he left the restaurant he shook the waiter’s hand and said, "I’m sorry I have to leave" and he said he’d had a great night. He said he had to leave straight away.'

The 70-year-old rock singer has not slept since and is said to be so grief-stricken that he can barely speak.
